Compliance with EU Directives

Where the estimated contract value is above monetary thresholds set out in the EU Directive, public sector users must demonstrate that the procurement process conforms to the detailed rules of the regulations including advertising in the Official Journal of the European Union. These threshold levels are set out below:

Supplies Contracts €  193,000 or £ 156,442
Services Contracts €  193,000 or £ 156,442
Works Contracts €  4,845,000 or £ 3,927,260

Values shown are for social housing landlords and local education authorities. Different values may apply to other specific contracting authorities (see Schedule 1 of The Public Contracts Regulations 2006).

Supplies contracts tend to be those for supply only of product. Works contracts include an installation element.

LHC Network framework arrangements have been established to meet the definition of either 'Supplies' or “Works” or both, as shown  below.
