LHC Pitches New Roofing Framework Arrangement

LHC has roofing covered with the launch of a new framework arrangement for pitched roofing, which will complement its Flat Roofing (FR1) framework arrangement.

The collaborative procurement network has introduced the new Pitched Roofing (PR2) framework arrangement to provide a full range of specialist pitched roofing installation works for refurbishment and new build projects.
PR2 provides for the supply and installation of pitched roof coverings, including roof repairs, structural repairs and optional works for flat to pitch and over roof conversion systems and solar photovoltaic generation.
The pre-tendered OJEU compliant PR2 framework arrangement is serviced by twelve specialist contractors in fourteen regional areas. This is to enable local companies to complement larger national and regional contractors giving customers the widest choice.
John Skivington, Director, LHC commented: “PR2 was the perfect opportunity for LHC to appoint contractors, large and small on a regional basis to enable site requests to be responded to quickly by local companies, who understand local public sector requirements.
“By choosing this framework arrangement, public sector officers can adhere to the Government’s clear preferences for considering local supply chains, as well as having the opportunity to take advantage of the benfits larger contractors can offer.
“Added together, the PR2 framework arrangement is another example of how LHC is striving to continually help our public sector customers ensure work is completely quickly and meet all requirements for compliancy, quality, sustainability and best value.“
