LHC Pledges Support To Scottish Housing Associations
LHC has become a Commercial Member of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) to offer free support services to help Housing Associations achieve Government targets for housing.
LHC offers free of charge OJEU compliant, pre-tendered framework arrangements for building contractors and services, including a whole house refurbishment framework arrangement with specific energy efficiency measures.
The leading public sector consortium has now become a Commercial Member of SFHA to work in partnership to support housing associations across Scotland to efficiently achieve Government targets for housing including the Scottish Housing Quality Standards, by the 2015 deadline.
As a new Commercial Member, LHC is part sponsoring the Property Maintenance Conference at the Crieff Hydro on 8th and 9th November, where the LHC area manager for Scotland will be available to discuss the benefits of procurement via framework arrangements.
Clive Feeney, LHC Scotland Area Manager: “In the drive to achieve the Scottish Housing Quality Standards, new investment in energy efficiency measures is creating opportunities in all types of refurbishment and maintenance of social housing, together with the regeneration of deprived areas.
