LHC Introduces Flat Roofing Framework Arrangement to Scotland
LHC has completed its launch of the new OJEU compliant, pre-tendered framework arrangement for public sector flat roofing works in Scotland.
The specialist procurement consortium has extended the new framework arrangement to provide a full range of specialist flat roofing installation works for refurbishment and new build projects in Scotland.
Recently launched in England and Wales, the Flat Roofing framework arrangement is now available to all public organisations in Scotland, offering an extensive range of roofing systems for all types of buildings including schools, social housing, offices, car parks and walkways.
In light of stringent evaluation throughout the tender process, LHC has appointed four specialist contractors, representing local and national contractors, to offer survey, design and installation of flat roofing systems and coverings together with associated works.
John Skivington, Director, LHC commented: “We are pleased to be able to offer our public sector customers in Scotland the much demanded Flat Roofing framework arrangement that has already developed significant interest in England and Wales.
“With the resulting cost and resource savings which can be achieved by using the framework arrangement route, more public sector buildings can be completed quickly and efficiently meeting sustainability requirements.
This is great news for social housing teams looking to complete the Scottish Housing Quality Standards and their residents.”
Social Housing landlords visiting the Scottish Federation of Housing Association’s Property Maintenance Conference at Crief Hydro on 8th and 9th November 2011, will have the opportunity to discuss the flat roofing framework arrangement with the LHC area manager for Scotland.
