LHC is reminding all customers and clients that new EU public sector procurement thresholds have been published, together with the GBP equivalents for the next two years, commencing 1 January 2010.
Where estimated contract value is above monetary thresholds set out in the EU Directive, public sector users must demonstrate that the procurement process conforms to the detailed rules of the regulations, including advertising in OJEU.
The new thresholds from 1 January 2010 are set out below:
Supplies and services - £156,442 (Euros 193,000)
Works - £3,927,260 (Euros 4,845,000)
