With the theme of this year's event being change and innovation, Councillor John Bevan, LHC Chair, and John Skivington, LHC Director highlighted that despite LHC's record year in 2009, there is now a critical need to embrace change both to remain strong in 2010, with the inevitable public sector cuts to come.
Guest Speaker, Rt Hon Sir Richard Needham reiterated the message in his speech, citing his experiences in Northern Ireland and at Dyson to prove how the smallest of innovations can make a significant difference.
The winners of four awards, were each announced by a member of the new Senior Management Team and presented with their trophies by Rt Hon Sir Richard Needham.
