LHC has launched the seventh edition of its successful Entrance Doorsets framework agreement.
Background of entrance doorsets framework
Formerly known as External Doorsets, the OJEU compliant framework provides full supply and installation of high quality, best value entrance doorsets for public sector buildings including social housing, offices, community buildings, schools, colleges and other public buildings.
The range includes composite and timber engineered door leaves, PVC-U, ECO and hardwood door frames, fire door assemblies, enhanced security and impaired mobility solutions.
Ten companies have secured the opportunity to provide services for this framework, which has a £12.5m value, through one or more regional lots across England, Wales and Scotland over a four year period. The framework will be promoted in Scotland under LHC’s new Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) brand.
John Skivington, LHC Director commented, “We are pleased to be able to offer this framework solution once again. This contributes to LHC’s comprehensive range of quality window and door frameworks that includes aluminium, PVC-U and timber window and door solutions for public sector building refurbishment.
“The framework structure has been carefully reviewed and we have made adaptions to suit our clients’ needs. The framework has been awarded on a 50% price and 50% quality weighting criteria that includes consideration of sustainability.
"Clients can therefore use the framework for a balanced approach or specifically choose to focus on price or quality."
