LHC has started the pre-tender engagement process for three new frameworks: Schools and Community Buildings (SCB2), Modular Buildings (MB1) and Heating Systems (HS1).

The new Schools and Community Buildings framework follows on from LHC’s existing framework (SCB1) and will provide new build and refurbishment works for public sector buildings including education, offices, accommodation, healthcare and community buildings.  Due to launch later in 2017, it is proposed that this framework will be split into four value bands covering various geographical lots across the UK and tenderers will be able to apply for up to two value bands.

Modular Buildings (MB1) due in 2017

Modular Buildings (MB1) is a new framework offering for LHC and will provide modular buildings for use in the public sector including education, healthcare, offices and community buildings. Those wanting to tender for this framework will be required to offer a full turnkey solution, providing all services required to deliver a project from design through to handover. Due to launch in 2017, it is proposed that the framework will be divided into regional lots to encourage tenders from SME's.

The Heating Systems framework (HS1) due in 2017

The Heating Systems framework (HS1) will be available in England and Wales and follows on from the success of the recently launched Heating Services framework in Scotland, which is currently operating under the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA). This framework is due to launch in 2017 and will operate under three categories: Domestic Heating, Commercial Heating and Third Party Auditors and Consultants.

The PIN notices have been published in the OJEU and companies wishing to express an interest in these frameworks can do so through registering through LHC's e-tendering portal.

LHC is going to run pre-tender workshops and webinar sessions regarding these frameworks. Details of proposed events will also be issued via the LHC e-tendering portal.
