LHC delivers a simple core service. We bring buyers and suppliers together to build, refurbish and maintain social housing and public property more efficiently and cost effectively, and to benefit the local community. Created for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies, our frameworks are procured in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and are free to use.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we return any surplus to our members to improve social value outcomes in accordance with our primary goal 'working together to deliver better buildings, homes and communities' and actively contribute to community benefit initiatives.
We offer national coverage and local expertise and delivery, matching buyers with suppliers who operate in their region and share a commitment to the local community.
Members in each region have the opportunity to create and distribute a Community Benefit Fund. The fund is generated from the rebate members receive if they spend over a specified threshold on LHC frameworks.
